 Himalayan Quartz is a coveted and difficult to source specimen , found only above 5,500 meters elevation. The harsh atmospheric conditions yield exceptionally clear and vibrant crystals of the highest quality. Limited mining seasons, lasting just about eight weeks annually, make these stones rare and deeply prized.
 
This collection of Himalayan quartz spheres is a rare find, as significant material is typically lost during the carving process required to create their perfectly rounded shape. This particular sphere is a near perfect water drop of classic Himalayan clarity, marked by a beautiful internal rainbow  to one side
